The GT-R is available in two trims - base and Premium - and have one giant machine. A twin-turbo 3.8-liter, 485-horsepower V-6 received a rising power (horse power more than five years ago) and paired with a dual-clutch, sequential six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. There are three types of shifts: Normal Mode to the smoothness and efficiency; R-Mode for quick shifting and performance of Snow Mode for soft starting and shifting on slippery surfaces. Nissan change the transmission control module and reprogrammed to provide a line of more-rigid brake, rear-biased all-wheel-drive and a revised suspension. Speaking of acceleration, the GT-R can be zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds lightning fast.

Skyline R34 Mspeed, Waktu terbaik Bukti Ketangguhannya

Apakah Nissan Skyline R34 merupakan salah satu mobil favorit anda ? Jika anda masih ragu, sepertinya mobil lansiran tahun 98 ini dapat membuktikan ketangguhannya untuk anda. Performa terbaiknya, ditunjukkan di sirkuit Tsubuka dalam rangkaian Revspeed Time Attack. Mobil yang digarap oleh Mspeed itu pun membuktikan diri dengan catatan waktu terbaik yaitu 54:481 detik. Dan ini adalah awal bagi sang pabrikan jepang untuk berkompetisi di ajang Prostock R34 dan Nagisa Auto R34.
Meskipun mobil ini tidak termasuk kedalam spesifikasi StreetLegal, namun adakah yang peduli?!apakah anda pernah melihat mobil Skyline serendah ini? Apalagi dengan adanya splitter depan yang hampir menyentuh aspal. Perangkat tersebut berasal dari FPR yang juga melangkapi sebelas bagian bodykit lain yang dipasangkan pada Skyline berkelir kuning ini. Selain itu, Splitter ini juga berguna untuk memberikan daya tekan yang maksimal, ketika mobil dilaju kencang.
Tampilan luar yang memikat dengan warna kuning, membuat si Skyline begitu menyala. Terlebih dengan pemasangan pelek berawarna hijau yang memang dikerjakan secara “handmade.” Anehnya, roda itu hanya menggunakan satu buah baut. Memang sedikit tidak jelas, apa keuntungan dari penggunaan baut tersebut. Namun, dengan pelek ala Rays yang diberi nama TE37MAG berukuran 18 inci. Dan balutan ban ekstra lengket RE55 dari Bridgestone, yang tersedia dalam ukuran 265-35-18. Paketan rem ala Brembo juga ikut serta melengkapi bagian kaki-kaki si Skyline R34 ini.

Namun tetap saja yang menjadi perhatian utamanya adalah splitter depan yang juga dipadu dengan intercooler dari ARC. Serta paduan striping menarik ala balap yang memenuhi body si Skyline R34. Dan juga spoiler besar dan cover pada bagian bagian belakang Skyline terbuat yang dari karbon. Dan sebagai pelengkap dibagian belakang, fender belakang yang lebar dari FRP pun juga ikut dipasangkan pada badan mobil buatan negeri Sakura itu.
Sekarang mari kita berbicara tentang dapur pacunya. Mesin 2.6-L yang semula menghuni Skyline R34 ternyata ditingkatkan menjadi 2.8-liter. Selain itu perangkat tambahan dari Apexi yang berupa turbo AX53B60, pipa buang udara, serta perangkat lain yang dibuat sendiri oleh Mspeed. Dan untuk tahun ini rekor yang mereka capai untuk keluaran tenaganya adalah 780PS. Inilah faktor utama dari hasil catatan waktu yang dicapainya di Tsubuka. Tapi, pihak Mspeed juga masih akan terus mengembangkan performa Skyline R34-Nya itu agar lebih sempurna dalam melakukan handling dan akselerasi yang baik.

Fitur lain yang dimiliki oleh Skyline R34 ini adalah dengan adanya rollcage yang dilas pada chasis-nya. Ini dilakukan agar mobil lebih kuat dan kokoh. Hal lainnya adalah dengan adanya perangkat berbahan karbon yang ringan, seperti pada bagian dashboard. Selain itu, Mspeed juga memasangkan perangkat mesin dari Motec, ABS, dan juga LSD. Switzer Performance Workshop in America to give an injection energy like crazy on the Nissan GT-R sports. Using ethanol fuel, energy can reach 900 HP.

Switzer called the GT-R E900, this car uses ethanol as a substitute for conventional gasoline from the fuel pump, which allows the mechanics to improve performance.

As reported Worldcarfans, Friday (06/25/2010) This is a major up grade of the GT-R P800, which while still using gasoline engines, power is only 800 HP.

Extra large step further, a transmission custom built by Motorsports Dodson, New Zealand so, offers smooth shifts every speed.

"We have to change the fuel system and significantly increase the size of the injection, until finally we have a fuel that gives us everything we need to create a powerful 900 hp this car," said shop owner, Tym Switzer.

The result, gahar powered engines but also thanks to the environmentally friendly fuel ethanol is capable of running from the speed of 100 km per hour to 200 km per hour in less than six seconds.
